Copain is small-production artisanal wine made with a European sensibility. Winemaker Wells Guthrie admires French wine so much that he decided to apprentice with Michel Chapoutier in Rhone before starting Copain. The appreciation for terroir and elegant winemaking shows in Guthrie's range of Mendocino County wines. Tous Ensemble is an assemblage of southern Anderson Valley Pinot transformed into a deliciously dry and pale rosé. A great way to start kick off the Fourth of July weekend.
Flavor Profile: Medium-bodied, dry. A bright refreshing rosé with aromas and flavors of strawberry, cherry and citrus flowers. This springy wine is crisp, clean and dry. Try it with cheeses, grilled chicken and pork, as well as vegetarian dishes.
