Our wine buyer Bart Hopkins has followed Brocard’s Sainte Claire for five vintages now and loves the balance, mineral character, crisp mouth filling flavors.
For your further guidance:
Vintage 2021 - 91 Points by Decanter Magazine: Unsurprisingly similar to the organic Sainte-Claire AP Chablis, this is a fine and classy Chablis with much to enjoy. Great acidity, mineral notes on the finish all keeping the palate fresh and focussed. Just not quite as dense or mineral as the organic bottling but still high quality. — Andy Howard MW
Vintage 2020 - 93 Points by Decanter Magazine: Some of the vines here are over 70 years old. Even with a reticent, understated nose one can sense the energy and precision in this wine. There’s a lovely, creamy texture on the palate, with bright citrus notes and a long, lingering, savoury, mineral finish. A very fine example of Chablis which would compete very effectively against many a premier cru.
