The 2021 Hartford Court Russian River Pinot Noir is a dark purple-red color in the glass. The nose is pure Russian River all the way and literally jumps out of the glass with waves of dark berry, spice strawberry preserves, forest floor spice, and warm earth. Hints of vanilla and toast and rose petals accent this wonderfully boisterous Pinot. In the mouth, this Pinot brings the good with succulent summer blackberry and dark cherry with sappy cola and bouquet-garni herbs that add the perfect level of complexity and interest to this wonderfully pure and mouth-filling Pinot. The finish is long and supple with a polished kiss of vanilla oak riding on ripe rail of silky tannin that carry this beauty along on the palate to a pure and juicy finish.
