Harvest Notes of 2020 vintage
It was a warm, dry winter that kicked off the 2020 growing season. Spring saw cooler temperatures and light rains that transitioned into a moderate summer with cool, fog-laden mornings and bright, sunny afternoons. As has become somewhat typical in recent vintages, a series of heat spikes occurred in August and early September which accelerated ripening in Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards. The harvest began in earnest on the 19th of September. While the harvested clusters were leaner than the average year, the grapes were rich, ripe, and full-flavored. Post & Beam Cabernet Sauvignon 2020 is a wine that will not disappoint.
