Banfi La Pettegola Vermentino is fresh and intensely fruity on the nose. Exotic fruits and spices with underlying tones of Mediterranean wood are revealed. In the mouth the wine is full with soft structure that is enlivened by a rich acidity. Vineyards located in Bolgheri & The Tuscan Coast lend to the wines overall complexity, structure and palate. Delightfully fresh with an intense fruit forward bouquet of exotic fruit and spices typical of the Mediterranean coast. I love to enjoy this wine on the back patio with all the foods we enjoy all summer long, all types of salads, grill chicken, skewered seafood and the vibrant vegetables in season
